How to cancel auto-reload

Cancelling takes about ten seconds. There are no fees, no notice period, and no questions asked — that's a legal right in most of the markets we serve.

In your ReloadCard wallet (Stripe-billed)

  1. Open the card you want to stop topping up
  2. Tap Auto-reload (under the balance and Top Up button)
  3. Tap Cancel auto-reload at the bottom of the screen
  4. Confirm

The next scheduled top-up is cancelled immediately. Any balance already on the card stays — only future charges are stopped.

For auto-reloads set up through a merchant's Shopify checkout

If you signed up for auto-reload through a merchant's Shopify storefront (rather than inside ReloadCard), the subscription lives on Shopify. We deep-link you to it:

  1. Open the card
  2. Tap Auto-reload
  3. Tap Manage in Shopify — this opens the merchant's customer-account page
  4. Find the subscription and tap Cancel

You'll see a Shopify confirmation. Within a minute, the auto-reload status in your ReloadCard wallet updates to cancelled.

Asking the merchant directly

If you can't get to either option (e.g. you've lost access to the email the subscription was set up under), you can ask the merchant to cancel for you. Their support contact is on the card detail page — usually email and phone. Mention your card UUID (visible at the bottom of the card detail) and the merchant can cancel from their dashboard.

What happens after I cancel?

  • The next scheduled charge is cancelled immediately
  • Any balance already on the card is yours — it doesn't get clawed back (unless you cancel during a bonus clawback window — see Auto-reload bonus terms)
  • You can re-enable auto-reload anytime
  • You'll get a confirmation email

I don't see a cancel button

That should never happen. If you don't see one, email support@reloadcard.app with your card UUID and we'll cancel for you the same business day.
