Got a gift card for a store you don't visit? Transfer the balance to a store you prefer. Instant — and just 1% + $0.30 per transfer.

How to transfer

1. Tap Transfer from the home screen quick actions
2. Select the card you want to transfer FROM
3. Choose the store you want to transfer TO
4. Enter the amount (up to your full balance)
5. Confirm — done!

Fees

Moving balance between stores carries a small 1% + $0.30 transfer fee (minimum $0.30) — displayed clearly before you confirm. Transfer $50, pay $0.80. Shown as "fee on top" — your source card is debited $50.80, and the destination card receives the full $50.

The receiving merchant also pays a 3.99% destination fee on inbound transfers — but that doesn't affect the amount you see arrive. This is similar to what Venmo or Wise charge for moving money between accounts, and it keeps the transfer network sustainable so transfers stay fast and global.

Which stores support transfers?

Most stores on the Reload Network accept transfers. If a store has transfers disabled, it won't appear as a destination option.

Cross-currency transfers

You can transfer between stores in different countries. The app shows the exchange rate and converted amount before you confirm. For example: you send NZ$50 and the recipient receives US$31.25.

Can I transfer back?

Yes — transfers work in both directions. You can move balance back and forth between any stores that support transfers.
