How it works

Got a gift card for a store you don't visit? Transfer the balance to a store you prefer. Instant, between stores in the same country and currency.

How to transfer

1. Tap Transfer from the home screen quick actions
2. Select the card you want to transfer FROM
3. Choose the store you want to transfer TO
4. Enter the amount (up to your full balance)
5. Confirm, done!

Fees

Moving balance between stores carries a small transfer fee of 1% plus a fixed fee in your local currency (for example $0.30 in US dollars). The amount, the fee and the total are shown before you confirm. The fee is added on top: the destination card receives the full amount you send.

The receiving merchant also pays a 3.99% destination fee on inbound transfers, but that doesn't affect the amount you see arrive. This is similar to what Venmo or Wise charge for moving money between accounts, and it keeps the transfer network sustainable so transfers stay fast and global.

Which stores support transfers?

Most stores on the Reload Network accept transfers. If a store has transfers disabled, it won't appear as a destination option.

Same country and currency

Transfers only work between stores in the same country that use the same currency as your card, so there is no currency conversion. The destination picker lists only those stores. You can still hold cards in other currencies in your wallet. Transfers are not available in every country yet.

Can I transfer back?

Yes, transfers work in both directions. You can move balance back and forth between any stores that support transfers.
