Is ReloadCard free to use?

Yes. There are no fees for consumers. Creating an account, managing cards, and transferring balances are all free.

Do I need to download an app?

No download required. ReloadCard works in your mobile browser. Just visit the website, sign in, and you're ready.

How do I add money to my card?

Go to your card or the store page and tap "Top Up". Choose an amount and pay with Apple Pay, Google Pay, or any card.

Can I use my card at any store?

Each card is linked to a specific store. To use your balance at a different store, use the Transfer feature to move it.

Are transfers really free?

Yes. You transfer $40, you get $40 at the new store. No hidden fees.

What if I lose my physical card?

Your balance is safe in your ReloadCard account. Sign in and your cards are still there. You can continue using the digital version.

Can I get a refund?

Contact the store directly for refund requests. They can issue store credit to your ReloadCard account.

How long are gift cards valid?

At least 3 years from purchase in NZ/AU, 5 years in the US. Expiry dates are shown on your card.

Can I transfer between stores in different countries?

Yes. The app shows the exchange rate before you confirm.

Can I schedule a gift for a future date?

Yes. Toggle “Schedule for later” when sending and pick a delivery date.

How do I use my card at a store?

Online: paste the gift card code at checkout. In-store: show the QR code to the cashier.

How do I add a physical card?

Tap the card to your phone or scan the QR code. It will be added to your wallet automatically if you're logged in.

Do card balances expire?

Expiration depends on the store's policy and local gift card laws. Most balances do not expire.

How do I contact support?

Email support@reloadcard.app. We typically respond within 24 hours.

Is my payment information secure?

Yes. Payments are processed by Stripe, a PCI-compliant payment processor. ReloadCard never stores your card details.

What happens if a merchant voids my card?

If a merchant disables your card, the balance is suspended and the card can no longer be used. Contact the merchant directly for a refund or replacement. The merchant may issue store credit to your account.
